Our Community Involvement 

Beeatrice’s Blessings: Helping Fight Childhood Cancer 

At Epcon Lane, we have established Beeatrice’s Blessings, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Through Beeatrice’s Blessings, we raise awareness for childhood cancer and donate to the Akron Children’s Hospital cancer unit. We began our nonprofit to honor the life of a dear family friend who unfortunately passed after a battle with childhood cancer. 

Since starting Beeatrice’s Blessings in 2017, we have donated a portion of our sales every September to the Akron Children’s Hospital. This is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and we are proud to participate by giving what we can to support lifesaving care and research. Every December, we also collaborate with local counselors to "adopt" families with children who have cancer. We obtain a wish list from these families and make sure they receive the essential items and gifts mentioned on their lists.

Honey Donation Program

As a pest control company, our obligation to environmental responsibility includes a growing concern for bee conservation. In the event a customer requests treatment for bees and we identify them as honey bees, we collaborate with a local beekeeper to relocate the hive responsibly. 

We've established a partnership with a local beekeeper to ethically source our Epcon Lane honey for our own bottling and distribution. A percentage of the proceeds from our honey sales is directed towards supporting Save the Bees initiatives. 

Our dedication extends beyond pest management to contribute positively to the well-being of these crucial pollinators.
